Curriculum
Your instructor
Amberlin is a mom, a wife and strives to be a faithful servant of God. She has worked in church ministry in various forms for over 10 years on a local and national level. She holds a B.A. in English and is a published author. She is a contractual writer for Pentecostal Publishing House as a curriculum writer for youth and have spoken on youth topics at various seminars and on video for the United Pentecostal Church International.
She has her M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and is licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor. She is in the dissertation portion of acquiring a Ph.D. in Psychology from Liberty University.
She has worked the last few years in private practice groups and as a therapist and clinical director at a residential treatment facility for adolescents with substance abuse and mental health diagnoses. She is trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and has extensive experience treating trauma, anxiety, depression and mood disorders. She has worked with adults, couples and adolescents through various challenges of life and has a passion for continuing to serve this population.
